A little known fact about the Marina Bay Sands infinity pool is that it holds 1423314.83 litres of water!
Members of the public are not allowed access into the pool as it is exclusively reserved for paying guests. But if you pay the minimal fee to the Skypark, which will not only get you access but also a free drink, or go for a drink at Ce La Vie, you can snap a selfie overlooking the pool and the epic view of the Marina and Financial District. You can also check out Gardens by the Bay and its spectacular Light Show from the other lookout point opposite the pool.

Hotel Indigo Katong

Hotel Andaz
On the lobby level of the hip Hyatt family brand Andaz, lies a beautiful infinity pool in Singapore that overlooks the skyline. This includes sweeping views of the Marina, the Singapore Flyer and most of the CBD from the 25th floor.

This infinity pool in Singapore, next to a patch of faux grass is by no means luxurious and is only a lap pool, but it will be very much appreciated on the hotter days after a day out sightseeing. There are also two hot tubs and loungers spread out on the deck.
Views are building-heavy, yet the pool is high enough to escape onlookers for additional privacy. There is also a 24hr fitness centre on the rooftop if you didn’t break enough of a sweat touring the Lion City.

Capri by Fraser China Square
Opened in May 2019, this is the second Capri by Fraser property to land in the Lion City (the other one in Changi also has a pool, but not on the roof, see details at the end of this list). Located right next to Singapore’s Chinatown, it’s the perfect place to stay for both business and leisure travellers and is located near three MRT stations. This is a great rooftop pool Singapore hotel to view both Chinatown below and the CBD’s skyscrapers towering overhead.
There are steam rooms, a world-class gym, meeting facilities, PS4s and executive lounges. The hotel is what Google might think up with its bountiful meeting places that are geared toward social living. The interiors are inspired by its surroundings and are focused on Chinatown but with a modern twist.

Citadines Balestier
Get taste of what living the good life in Singapore is all about at the Citadines Balestier ApartHotel. Located in Novena, equidistant from Orchard Road and MacRitchie, it’s a nice option to be away from the CBD and Marina. There is an outdoor pool on the 6th floor along with a BBQ pavilion, kids play area, fitness area gym and both an indoor and outdoor Residents’ Lounge. While this is not a true Singapore rooftop pool hotel, we count it as a rooftop pool as it’s high enough, has a view and is outdoor.
As this is part apartment and part hotel, you can expect all amenities in the suites along with complete and fully equipped kitchenettes, en-suite bathrooms, ample closet space and a work desk. You can also choose a studio-apartment type room or a one bedroom.

Other great hotels with pools in Singapore
While the above list of hotels with rooftop pools is quite extensive, there are also a few hotels with a pool in Singapore that deserve mention.
Their pools may not be at the top of the hotel, but they are still great.
With temperatures regularly above 30 degree Celsius, booking a hotel with a pool in Singapore is a no brainer and the best choice you can make. After hours sightseeing in the heat, a hotel pool is a great way to relax and take a break from the asphalt.
Sofitel So Singapore
The Sofitel So Singapore pool screams luxury as it is the only one to feature golden-coloured tiles. The feel at the Sofitel, surrounded by the glittering skyscrapers of the CBD, could be described as French jetsetter-chic.
Choose from an array of international wines and champagnes at the HI-SO Rooftop Bar. The fashionista suites include interiors designed by Isabelle Miaja and Karl Lagerfeld.
The hotel itself, within a heritage building containing neo-classical columns, is a fantastic blend of old and new. So you get a real feel of what the Lion City is all about.

PARKROYAL on Pickering
The tropical eco-conscious luxe oasis that is PARKROYAL on Pickering is like no other hotel you’ve ever stayed at.
The infinity pool, complete with bird-cage cabanas, is perched along lush foliage that covers the entire hotel. This makes this infinity pool in Singapore look more like a sky garden than a hotel in the city.
While the pool is not on the rooftop, it is high enough to get (5th floor) to get a relaxing view adjacent Hong Lim Park which blends seamlessly with the foliage of the hotel.
Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, the architectural marvel is well worth a visit on a trip through Singapore’s Chinatown. You won’t be sorry you went, it is on of the most Instagrammable spots in Singapore.

One Farrer Hotel & Spa
The scale of One Farrer Hotel is massive. It has a hotel-within-a-hotel concept, so there are many options to select. You can select the Urban Hotel for a chic contemporary stay, the Loft Apartments for duplex New York-esque living, the Skyline Hotel for penthouse sophistication or the Sky Villas for uber luxury.
The pool is one the largest hotel swimming pools in Singapore, without a doubt, as it is Olympic is proportion. While it isn’t situated on the tip top of the building, it is on the 6th floor. What it lacks in height it makes up for in size.
The Sunset Bar is a nice addition and lives up to its name as this is the perfect place to watch the sun go down. It’s also close to Chinatown and Little India where you can explore sites like the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, one of the most beautiful temples in Singapore, and Museum or the infamous Mustafa Centre.

Mandarin Oriental Singapore
The iconic hotel, shaped much like its fan logo, is the epitome of SE Asian hospitality. Poolside, The Mandarin Oriental Singapore offers statuesque fountains, comfy cabanas, plentiful palm trees and a panoramic view of the glimmering Financial District and Marina.
Due to the brands emphasis on service, you can expect your experience at this hotel’s rooftop to be a little different.
There is a lifeguard on duty, attendants constantly pass by with cold mint-scented towels and ice water, there is sunscreen provided gratis and you can catch up on the latest headlines with a free newspaper. Another option for a hotel with a rooftop pool in Singapore close to Orchard Road is the Courtyard by Marriott.
The hotels’ rooftop pool is located way up on the thirty-third floor and offer 360 degree views of gritty downtown Singapore and green MacRitchie Reservoir Park.
The pool area is decorated with clean lines and wood flooring that offers a calming ambience. While you can devour international cuisine at the Sky22 restaurant or have a quick nush at the Lobby Lounge Deli, the Urbana Rooftop Bar is the perfect place for lighter fare and signature cocktails to sip with your sunset.

Park Hotel Alexandra
While most of the hotels on this list are near the CBD and the Marina, Park Hotel Alexandra is unique in that it is the only one to the west.
Guests will therefore experience a view like no other as they peer over the amazing green canopy of the Southern Ridges and the uniquely designed block-shaped Interlace apartment complex.

Oasia Hotel Novena Singapore by Far East Hospitality
Situated in Novena, near the Courtyard by Marriott, the Oasia Hotel Novena has two wonderful swimming pools within its premises. The first in an area called the Oasis is an open-air 20m lap pool on the 8th floor in a garden setting – with jacuzzi.
The second pool in an area called the Living Room is a more exclusive affair and is reserved only for guests staying in Club Rooms or Suites.
This private room has sweeping views of the city and is a perfect place to have some alone time while watching the spectacular Singapore sunset.
Entering the Living Room feels like you have gained access to a private club and is perfect for private business meetings or a couple’s retreat.

Amara Sanctuary Resort
While the W Singapore – Sentosa Cove has one of the biggest pools in Singapore, it is on ground level and can be rather noisy. Your best option for some peace and tranquility in a pool on Sentosa is the SkyPool on the roof of the luxurious Amara Sanctuary resort.
The SkyPool is only one of four swimming pools within the premises, and while it offers amazing views of the South China Sea, there is an even more luxurious option. Those staying at the Larkhill Terrace Suites will instantly gain access to the premier infinity pools of the Larkhill Terrace Pool. There is also the Dreampool amid natural foliage and the Children Pool complete with waterslide. You can also reserve a Pool Villa if you’re looking for a bit more privacy.
Don’t only stay for the pools, but also the gym with personal trainer, the wonderful Spa Luna, buggy services, complimentary shuttle services to HarbourFront and a walking tour of the surrounding gardens.

Capella Singapore
I have stayed at the Capella on Sentosa on two separate occasions and can truly say that this is the most beautiful hotel pool in Singapore.
Why?
As you can tell from the image above, the pool area is multi-tiered, surrounded by lush nature and has views of the ocean. I would say it is Singapore’s equivalent of the Hanging Gardens in Ubud, Bali.
The hotel is designed by the incredible team at Foster + Partners so you can expect nothing but the best in the use of space and the mix of old and new, functional and aesthetic, cosmopolitan and tranquil.
What’s more, the top level pool is adults only where you can sip a pina colada in splendid solitude. Hip Siloso, one of Singapore’s best beaches, is also a few minutes away on foot.
Expect a hip and happening vibe with beautiful people, freshly shucked oysters, a mariachi band and Singapore’s only Cuban bar, Bob’s Bar.

Sofitel Singapore Sentosa
Not to be confused with the SO Sofitel on the main island mentioned above, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa is located on the hip island and equidistant from both Tanjong and Palawan beaches, so you have options.
The large pool is epic in size, with a colonial finish that could transport you to the majesty of hotel pools in India. What’s more, if you’re visiting on weekends you don’t even need to be staying at the hotel, but can use it if you book brunch.
The SO Spa is also incredible and is in fact the largest in the world with a massive lap pool of its own. In fact, there are three pools in total at the spa, the cerulean-tiled lap pool, the float pool surrounded by waterfalls and the mud pool for a Moroccan rhassoul clay detox. There is also a world-class gym on site, but with all the water available, you most likely will not be using it.

Ritz Carlton Singapore
Similar to the lavish Mandarin Oriental, the Ritz Carlton Singapore has possibly the prettiest hotel pool in the Marina. The outdoor 25m lap pool is surrounded by lush foliage, a three-tiered timber pool deck, and there are both sun loungers and private cabanas to choose from.
Have a snack by the pool with any drink of your choice and let the kids roam free on one of the complimentary pool floats.
The hotel itself also has an award-winning bakery, Colony, a one Michelin star restaurant, Summer Pavilion, a 4,200-piece art collection and for the party-goers there is the Club Lounge on the 32nd floor with draw-dropping panoramic views of the city. The spa is also pleasing for the eyes and the soul.

Fullerton Hotel
With large ancient Greek columns to the one side and a beautiful Singapore river to the other, the Fullerton Hotel has one of the most picturesque hotel pools in Singapore.
Along with a complimentary heritage tour, Merlion cocktail, and airport transfer, guests at Fullerton Hotel will also gain access to the Fullerton Bay rooftop pool just 10 minutes away on foot.
Escape to their beautiful spa or choose from an array of various dining options at one of their five different restaurants. For the business traveler, there is a full financial centre, a charging station and an automated foreign exchange machine. Use the Straits Club for an extra luxe touch.
There are also a host of family-friendly activities on offer from GoGreen personal mobility devices (e-scooters and Segway miniPROs) to the Marina Bay Light and Water Show.

W Singapore – Sentosa Cove
While W Hotels are usually geared toward young, hip couples looking for a party along with their vacation, W Singapore – Sentosa Cove is more of a family-friendly affair. The massive pool surrounded by greenery of all sorts is catered for families seeking a fun staycation by the ocean.
There is also a pretty swim up bar, but the shallow water means that there will be kids splashing around. If you do want to find some adult solace, you will have to take a look at Woo Bar There with cocktails and oysters on Friday, free flow tequila and margaritas with DIY nachos on Saturday for S$65pp and other offers during the week.

One15 Marina
If you ever wanted to get a taste of the lavish lifestyle of the rich and famous, then this is the place to go. The glass walls and views overlooking the yachts of the Marina will surely make you feel all luxed-out.
There are also regular swimming activities and lessons through Yvonne Swim School that can be booked from the Recreation Office. The Pool Bar has snacks and drinks on offer, and you can also relax in the Jacuzzi.
The Sentosa hotel has just about anything you could want on your vacation, no matter what type of traveler you are. There are several dining options, a gym, an arcade at the youth & kids club, tennis courts, table tennis, workstations at the InnerCove Member’s Lounge… we think you get the point.

Shopaholics seeking respite after a day of retail therapy at Orchard Road should look no further than Marriott Tang Plaza.
The newly renovated outdoor swimming pool in one of the most iconic structures on the strip is the perfect place to relax after all that walking. The Tangs-style cabanas add a pretty Asianic resort feel and the curvy glass ION Orchard Mall juts out for an extra futuristic look.
The hotel fitness centre is one of the most well-equipped in the city-state and the several dining options will have your mouth watering, particularly the Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant at Level 3.

Ascott Orchard Singapore
Located on the fourth floor of the Ascott Orchard Singapore, their pool is modern, sleek and complete with a glass enclosure.
Also situated in the bustling Orchard Road area, the hotel is as central as it gets and the perfect place for first-time visitors. It’s even linked to Paragon shopping mall through a covered bridge.
The Ascott has more of a residence feel than a resort vibe, so it is the best example of how the wealthier residents of Singapore live. There are both indoor (with air-con) and outdoor fitness areas, a resident’s lounge to socialise of dinner and popular Singaporean cafe KITH on the first floor.

Grand Hyatt Singapore
Just off the main Orchard Road strip, the Grand Hyatt is another central option for both solo or family travelers. The cabanas that surround the turquoise pool provide an intimate, private and relaxed feel.
The pool area is in a garden setting with several options to dip into. There is a kiddies pool and an adults option among the greenery.
The stone and wood lined Damai spa is luxurious and provides Chinese, Malay, Indian, and European treatments. The Damai also has a 24/7 fitness centre. And you most definitely won’t go hungry with 8 dining options to choose from serving a variety of options from Italian to private BBQs by the pool.

Shangri-la
This is truly a hotel for families with kids. There are interactive areas both indoor and outdoor at the Explorer Zone where they can frolic in the sand pits, nets, slides, ball pits and mazes. There is even a Toddler Zone, which is equipped with swings and slides, an interactive piano floor, a ball pit and vintage kiddie rides.
And the pool? It is absolutely massive where the little ones can explore with a sense of adventure. There’s even a water play zone with splash pads and a large pirate ship that they can climb and slide down.
Of course, parents can take the day off and relax at the spa or get some exercise done in the well equipped fitness centre looking out into the greenery.

Hotel Fort Canning
After an unplanned stay at Fort Canning, I can recommend this pool hotel for anyone who wants to stay in seclusion amid absolute greenery in the middle of Fort Canning Park.
There are two mineral pools to choose from and they are both the cleanest you will experience in the Red Dot. This is due to the technology used in the filtration system and developed for European Aerospace. The system is designed by NASA and is used for the astronauts’ drinking water. So you can expect zero chlorine and the most refreshing dip you’ve ever taken.
The main pool is slightly smaller and has a kiddies pool, but is surrounded by cabanas and sun loungers. The other pool is basically Olympic sized with an adjacent second tier below and is great for getting in some laps, the perfect way to keep fit while traveling.

Capri by Fraser
This upscale all-suite hotel is a good option if you’re looking to stay close to Changi. The lavish and large outdoor pool is located on the second floor alongside the 24 hour gym with steam and sauna rooms. Gamers or those traveling with children can visit one of the many PS4 (with VR) or XBOX-One gaming rooms to satisfy their needs.
While all suites are clean and minimal, the large Studio Terrace Suite is the most opulent and comes with its own spacious private terrace that includes a large hammock bed. For dining there is only one option, Caprilicious serving American buffet breakfast, set lunches and a la carte dinners. There is also a chillout lobby bar, Drinx, for night-time nibbles and cocktails.
